To all Eagle Point Homeowners –

There are many rumors circulating as to the possible sale of Eagle Point Golf Course and Driving Range. The Homeowners Association Board has been in contact with Steve Barrentine, one of the current owners, and were told that there is a serious interest in the course and that we should know something in the next 30 days.

Additionally we have been in communication with Lindsey Allison and Shelby County. Ms. Allison has told us " The sale is not complete and there are numerous issues to be resolved. That being said the county staff has been working very hard to determine the net effect on the community and once the sale is confirmed and details are known - it is the intent of the county staff and myself to talk with the residents of Eagle Point. "

Please know that your HOA Board is keeping a close eye on the situation and we will communicate with the neighborhood as we know more information.

All homeowners are invited to call the HOA office with any questions.

Board Meeting Location Change

The venue for the Eagle Point Board Meeting scheduled for next Monday at 4PM has been changed to the meeting room at the Hampton Inn. A representative from the Shelby County Sheriff's Department will be there to discuss forming a neighborhood watch.

FROM YOUR HOA BOARD –

We have been working hard to find out all we can about the sale of the Golf Course and Driving Range. This is what we have been able to learn so far:

There is a contract in place for the sale of the Eagle Point Golf Club. Highpointe Investments LLC is the purchaser.
The current site plan includes the development and construction of approximately 297 single-family homes. There is no plan for multi-family development.
The EPHOA will hold a town hall meeting in April at the Eagle Point Golf Club - Point Room to discuss the development project. The purpose will be to present development plans and answer homeowners’ questions. We will notify homeowners of the date and time as soon as it is confirmed.

NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE –

The Eagle Point Spring Neighborhood Garage Sale is scheduled for April 9th from 7:00 am – 2:00 pm. Please indicate your participation by placing a red balloon on your mailbox. The HOA will advertise the sale in the papers and on signs at the 280 and 119 entrances to Eagle Point. This is always a successful event and one we look forward to each year. Thanks for your participation.
