Eagle Pointer re: Damaged Sign at 119 Entrance
Please use caution at the 119 entrance (or use an alternate route) this Friday 8/2 and Saturday 8/3; crews will be working to repair the damaged limestone sign at the entrance monument and to re-secure the sign on the exit side. There will be large equipment and workers present, so traffic delays can be expected.
It took some time for the volunteer HOA board to find a qualified and reasonably priced contractor to perform the repairs. Dave Gangle, our Landscape Chair, met with four different companies to secure comparable bids. Because we try to be good stewards of Eagle Point residents’ money, it was worth the time to get this done right. We appreciate your patience as the repairs are performed.

Eagle Pointer re: AT&T Fiber update
A very helpful resident made contact with Star Construction and shared the following information today. (Please refer to previous Eagle Pointer for details on reporting damages to Star Construction.)
Thank you for sending along this AT&T Fiber information I received from Star Construction to the HOA group:
I was told that the patchwork fixes taking place all throughout the neighborhood was a temporary fix, just to serve as a covering of the open holes for safety.
Once the project is complete, Star Construction will go to each house making broader restoration repairs to holes and insertion of new turf.
Though many yards have been dug up already, for those who have not been touched yet and have in-ground sprinkle systems, the recommendation is to place irrigation flags (about $3 for 10 at Lowes) at the sprinkler-head positions for the spouts at the front part of your yard. Same goes for locations residents may have an in-ground electronic dog fence in place.
Any sprinkler and/or pipe damage that takes place during the initial dig is supposed to be fixed immediately on the spot. Any recurring issues there after can be resolved by working with the Star Construction group (see attached flyer).
