Hi Eagle Point,

Dumping

Your HOA has noticed several areas around Eagle Point where residents/contractors have been dumping items like tiles, contractor wood, tree branches, grass clippings, etc. onto empty lots. Please dispose of these items properly and do not dispose of items you do not want onto property that is not yours. This is rude and inconsiderate and someone else has to clean up the mess. Your HOA rents dumpsters several times a year for residents to use. Also, be responsible and bag the disposable items and hire a company to remove it from your property, or take the items to the dump yourself. WastePro has a service that will pick up bagged garbage from your curb (this is an extra $$$). BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR!

Garage Sale/Dumpsters

Get ready for the SPRING Garage Sale on Saturday, April 13th. Clean out your closets, basement, and garages for items that might bring some $$$CASH. Dont forget to buy RED BALLOONS and put on your mailboxes so bargain hunters can find your house. To DONATE items that do not sell at the garage sale please email [email protected] your address for The Foundry Charity to pick up after the sale. (Thanks Amy Baggett)

The DUMPSTERS will return on Thursday night, April 11th and be removed Monday morning, April 15th. This time the dumpsters will be located in the parking lot at Griffin Park (206 Griffin Park Drive). Remember if the dumpsters are full, not to leave items on the ground around the dumpsters. We are not using WastePro this time and the new company has asked residents to do the following: Prohibited waste is free liquids (these can be solidified using absorbent materials such as kitty litter or saw dust), Compressed cylinders, and batteries. We recommend that any liquid containers be disposed of with no lid so the solidification process is evident. Your HOA will send a list of Dos and Donts for the dumpster next week.

Yard Maintenance/Pets

Remember if you are getting rid of grass clippings/tree limbs or branches to dispose of them where they are not visible on your lot. Neighbors do not want to look out their windows and view your humps of clippings/branches etc. Please make sure these clippings/branches do not wash into your neighbors yard so they have to clean up the mess. If your yard is struggling with weeds, hire an environmental company to take care of it. Several residents have complained that your weeds are overtaking their yards.

Remember to also be mindful of your pets. Do not let them run freely around the hood or onto your neighbors lawns to do their business. If you are walking your pet, take a bag to pick up your pets waste and dispose of the waste in your own garbage can and not down drainage ditches! BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR!!!
