Eagle Pointer - Cement Trucks
Hi Eagle Point,
Your EPHOA
Office has received a lot of calls and emails about the CEMENT trucks
that are currently going through the neighborhood. The developer is pouring the curbs for the streets
in the new section of GP. Cement Trucks
are very large and currently are having trouble going around each other on the
GP streets. They are having to come in
and out a different direction because of this.
The Trucks will only be in the neighborhood for a couple more hours and
then the problem should be resolved. The drivers have been instructed to go through EP at a slow pace. Thank you for your patience and understanding so that the streets can be
constructed and the new section of GP can finally be finished in the next year
or two.
Eagle Pointer - Trick or Treating
On behalf of the EPHOA Board, we are happy to announce that Eagle Point will have normal TRICK OR TREATING on Halloween. It’s up to individual residents whether or not they participate.
Eagle Pointer
Hi Eagle Point,
Birmingham Water Works is trying to tie in water lines at the corner of Eagle Point Parkway and Eagle Point Drive. The workers said they are tying in new lines for the plant on 280. BWWC is making sure that there is a back up or plan B in case the line does not tie into the newer line. The Big generator might cause a little noise tonight and tomorrow. It is located in front of Griffin Park and the Parkway. Hopefully, everything will run smoothly tomorrow. BWWC is doing a test run and making sure that our Griffin Park neighbors, and those living on Eagle Point Drive and Eagle Wood Court will still be able to get water. Also, please drive carefully/slowly when around this location.
Thanks!!!

Hi Eagle
Point!
Just a heads
up that the developer in the new section of Griffin Park will begin dumping
dense grade base on the remainder of the new roadways tomorrow. The dump trucks will either enter one
entrance and exit out through the subdivision, due to the fact there is not
enough room for them to around and exit back through the work area. Dunn Construction will be performing this
work along with the asphalt paving which is currently scheduled the week of
November 9th. Thank You Eagle
Point for your cooperation and patience.
The developer will constantly monitor the speed of the trucks in an
effort to promote safety in our neighborhood!
