Eagle Pointer re: Waste Management FAQ's

An Eagle Point resident shared the information below from her online Live Chat encounter with Waste Management. She asked me to share it in the hopes it helps someone else. Again, this is information shared by a resident who took the time to initiate a Live Chat with Waste Management regarding her specific account. Any Shelby County resident can communicate with WM in this manner or by calling them. The Waste Management website is www.wm.com (the virtual assistant prompt pops up in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen), and their phone number is 866-230-1547. My thanks to the resident who was kind enough to share her experience.

Below is from the resident:

* Monday, October 10^th – If you have extra trash bins that need to be picked up, Waste Management will begin this process on Monday 10/10 and can take up to 5 business days to pick them all up. (If you’re worried about them picking up the wrong bin then leave a note on the bin you want removed.) **Put your extra bins you want taken out by the road 10/10 and WM will get.

* Recycling bins - Republic will still be trying to get these collected. May have to contact them to set up a day.

* Trash still runs on Tuesday.

* We had not received a bill in the mail yet, so through Live Chat they were able to get me that information through email, so I could set up an account with them.
