The Eagle Point HOA annual letter was posted Friday, December 15, 2023. This letter included your invoice for your $300 dues for 2024 (plus addition dues, fines, and interest if you account is past due). If received after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a late fee of $50.00 will be assessed, plus interest at 1.5% per month on unpaid balances. You can mail or drop off a check payable to EPHOA at YourOffice USA, 4000 Eagle Point Corporate Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35242. You can also pay online by visiting EPHOA.org. Every homeowner in Eagle Point is a member of the HOA and therefore subject to these dues. If you have questions or didn’t receive your letter, you can contact the office at 205-314-5793.

The previous email about your annual dues mailing was sent to everyone who subscribes to the newsletter. It does not necessarily mean your account is past due. If you have paid, you do not need to call the office. You have your cleared check or your credit card transaction to verify that you have paid.

Eagle Pointer re: Garbage Pickup Delayed until next week

After being on hold with Waste Management for over an hour, customer service representative Sherry has given me the following information after confirming with her higher ups multiple times:

Because of the weather delays this week, Eagle Point’s next service date is our regular next Tuesday January 23. They ARE NOT offering or honoring special pickup requests. Bulk service pickup requests are not available in our area even under regular conditions. She said to open the lid and pile additional bagged garbage on top, compacted down as much as you can. When I told her that our drivers regularly bypass cans with open lids, she said that under this special circumstance, they will provide service to cans with open lids but WILL NOT pick up bags sitting next to cans.

Folks, given the weather that we’ve experienced, this is as good as it gets. Complaining about Waste Management or about the HOA won’t do any good. We’re all in the same boat with overflowing cans.
