Cookies with Santa and Wagon Ride

~ SANTA COMES TO EAGLE POINT ~

Santa will visit Eagle Point again on Saturday, December 17th beginning at 8:40 am. He will be riding on top of a Cahaba Fire Department truck and throwing candy and goodies to children of all ages. Let’s all turn out and support Santa on his visit.

NEIGHBORHOOD INFORMATIONAL SIGNS

Hopefully you have noticed the new informational signs in the neighborhood. After a bumpy start with the wrong day for Cookies with Santa we hope the signs will be yet another useful and efficient method for sharing information with the neighborhood. Watch the signs for information about the annual homeowners meeting coming up on January 10, 2017.

STREET PARKING

Neighbors continue to park in the street creating multiple hazards in the neighborhood. Buses have trouble in the morning (especially in The Crest) navigating the many hazards we create by parking on the street. Not only does this force school busses to back down our streets, it also interferes with trash pickup and emergency vehicles.

We have addressed this before and we have been gentle about it, but folks this has got to stop before there is an accident or before a child gets run over. Every house in Eagle Point has a garage and a driveway, please use them!

MAILBOXES

Several mailboxes were repaired and painted this summer and they look great. Unfortunately, many still need that need attention. The HOA has started checking mailboxes will be sending out compliance letters to neighbors who do not address their mailbox repairs.
