Point Homeowners Association Meeting
The next Eagle Point
Homeowner meeting will be April 9th at 5:30PM at the Lee Branch
Hampton Inn. As always, we appreciate
the Hampton Inn for hosting our meetings.
This meeting will have the candidates that are running for the Shelby
County Board of Education Superintendent and place 1 on the Shelby County Board of Education at the meeting. The candidates hope to share with the
homeowners the importance and values they place on education for Shelby County
children. We hope you will plan to
attend the meeting. The candidates that will be attending the meeting: Dr. Lewis Brooks, Bragan Feldman, and Dr.
Kristi Sayers. If you would like

The HOA hopes
you are ready for the April 14th neighborhood GARAGE SALE. Dont forget to get a red balloon for your
mailbox, just make sure you remember to remove it at the end of the day! The Exchange Club will be in the neighborhood
picking up leftover items, but you will need to call them and schedule a pick
up at your address. The Exchange Club

Pets
Please make sure to keep your sweet pets in your yard and do not let them roam on your neighbors property. The HOA has had several complaints over the last several weeks about pets roaming around the neighborhood, pets barking and running at residents and relieving themselves in homeowners yards that are not
their own.
PLEASE remember to BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR!
Candidates
DR. LEWIS BROOKS is the currentAssistant Superintendent of
Administration for the Shelby County Board of Education. Dr. Brooks leads the Division of
Administration and Pupil Services and supervises all aspects of student
services including safety and security. He is the author of the Safe
Schools Initiative ensuring a presence of school resource officers and law
enforcement in all schools.Dr. Brooks has served as a district level
executive leader for 12 years and as a teacher, assistant principal, and middle
school coordinator ensuring that high academic standards are a priority. He has established partnerships with
community leaders and parents in all Shelby County school zones. Brooks is a graduate of 2011 University of
Alabama Superintendents Academy.

Bragan Feldman - Is the
daughter of a retired Shelby County teacher, the wife of a Shelby County
teacher, the mother of two in Shelby County Schools and a businesswoman heavily
vested in Shelby County, my heart has always been in our education system. I
see this as an opportunity for me to serve my community and our schools,
Feldman said. The education that I received in Shelby County prepared me to be
truly dedicated to serving all of Shelby County and its wonderful schools. If
elected, Feldman said she would continue the school boards work in preparing
students for the workforce by keeping up with technology.

Kristi Sayers Has spent
14 years in Hoover City Schools and has been a part of Shelby County Schools
since 2009 as a teacher, an assistant principal, a central office curriculum
specialist working with curriculum for all high schools, a central office
leader responsible for the professional development for the entire system and
currently as principal at Oak Mountain High School. spent 14 years in
Hoover City Schools and have been a part of Shelby County Schools since 2009 as
a teacher, an assistant principal, a central office curriculum specialist
working with curriculum for all high schools, a central office leader
responsible for the professional development for the entire system and

Nationally Board Certified Teacher; she also serves on the Board of Directors
for Family Connections, Inc and was recently chosen as High School Principal of
the Year for Region V.
