Hi Eagle Point!!

The President of the HOA met with a Sheriffs Office Investigator and a patrol deputy today to discuss the recent car break-ins and burglaries in Eagle Point. There will be more information to come next week. Please realize this is not just occurring in Eagle Point but in several neighborhoods and apartment complexes around North Shelby.

The HOA would like residents to take these precautions:

1. Please park in your driveway and make sure all your car doors are locked.

2. Realize if you are parking on the street, you are making it easier for those criminals to hide in amongst your cars and to view neighborhood activities.

3. The HOA has Eagle Point CAR DECALS in the office and would like all residents to please put one on the bottom left of your cars back window. Deputies asked if Eagle Point had decals and pointed out this would help them in recognizing cars that do not belong in Eagle Point. If you have not already gone by the HOA office and picked up your car decals, please do so. Make sure you provide your name, address, and an ID.

4. Any suspicious activity or persons seen in the neighborhood please report them to the Sheriffs Office immediately. This will help them help Eagle Point. 9 1 1 is always a good option.

5. If you have cameras at your residence, please monitor them and watch your house and your neighbors house.

The HOA is working with the Sheriffs Office to apprehend the criminals but please be vigilant on your end. If something does not appear right, please call the Sheriff's Office because you or your neighbor could be next.
