Eagle Pointer re: “Housekeeping” Memo
We’ve had multiple residents call the office about the issues listed below, so we’re sending this Eagle Pointer to remind everyone that it’s easy to be a good neighbor!
1) Please clean up after your dog when you’re out taking your walks. Leaving your dog’s waste in your neighbor’s yard is rude and a nuisance. Your dog’s waste is your responsibility, and our administrative assistant is fielding numerous calls and emails on this issue.
2) The empty lots and common areas are not parking areas. Please park your cars in your driveway. We realize this sometimes involves the inconvenience of moving cars.
3) We are getting numerous calls from residents about street parking. This also affects our service providers and first responders. Please park your cars in your driveway. This does not mean you cannot host a party or have guests park on the street short term, but street parking as long term practice for regular residents is a violation of our covenants. Again, we realize this sometimes involves the inconvenience of moving cars.
4) Please bring your dog inside if it barks excessively. The barking echoes through the hills and valleys of Eagle Point, and we get frequent calls on this issue. It is a big deal to the many folks who work from home and can’t have a video conference without the noise in the background, and it is a big deal to the folks with young children who can’t get to sleep because the dog next door is barking to get in the house
Showing these common courtesies to your neighbor goes a long way towards keeping Eagle Point a great place to live.
